Improve your Health with Fengshui

We all know that exercise and diet are important to our health. Sleep is vital to your health and it determines how well you function in the day.

Did you realize these days, people are feeling down and lacking the energy to get up? They feel that things aren't working for them any more and lack enthusiasm and motivation. So if one?s environment is not healthy, the individual is also not healthy.

How does this energy affect us? If energy becomes blocked, it will not flow freely and its imbalance will affect everything in its path including us. It can cause us to become out of balance and with imbalance comes illnesses. This energy is so important to our well-being and we have the ability to make it work for us or against us.

From a Feng Shui perspective, there could be various reasons for ill health which may arise from your bedroom. This is an area where you spend a lot of time resting, sleeping, dressing and dreaming. Energy is important in bedrooms as it encourages rest and relaxation.

Here are some remedies for the bedroom.

  1. Do not sleep facing a mirror. Avoid having any fountains or water feature in the bedroom. This will cause ill health.
  2. Avoid television, hi-fi sets, computers or any type of powerful equipment which emit electromagnetic fields. This will disrupt your sleep, but over time it will wear down your immune system.
  3. Avoid sleeping underneath beams or sloped ceiling. It will cause headaches, aches and pain.
  4. Do not sleep with your feet in line with the door. Choose a supportive headboard and a firm mattress.
  5. Choose soft pastel colors for the bedrooms and lighting should be well lit and not too harsh.
  6. Look out for sharp edges and protruding corners that can send out harmful poison arrows.

By following these simple recommendations, you can improve on your sense of well-being. And by using Feng Shui remedies, one can harmonize and balance the qi in the home thus becoming healthier, happier and more prosperous.
